How is Moonbeam so much less expensive, compared to other website estimates?
We are not a full-service web design firm or branding agency. We’re nimble. We don’t write code.
Completely custom-designed websites can be amazing, but they can also be wildly expensive and take months to build. Complex coding and bespoke engineering are easy to break and costly to fix.
At Moonbeam, we avoid built-from-scratch solutions and instead deploy customizable platforms like Squarespace, Wordpress, and Readymag to deliver beautiful, cost-effective websites that are easy to maintain.
We know principles matter.
Here’s what we prioritize.
We only take on one project at a time. We don’t juggle clients, and we don’t overload our schedule. We’d rather build six really nice websites in a year than churn out dozens a month. When you work with us, we are only working with you.
Focus
Creating a website shouldn’t be a mystery. It also shouldn’t be a grueling process. We take the time to ask clients a ton of questions about their wants and needs, listen deeply, and stay in touch throughout the entire process. We also have fun with it.
Collaboration
We are obsessed with tiny details. If the alignment of a webpage is out of whack, we will balance it. If the color of a photo is too dark, we’ll brighten it. If a line of text is difficult to read, we’ll wordsmith it. You can count on us to sweat the small stuff.

We know there isn’t always tens of thousands of dollars in the budget to build a website. Our approach is designed to produce great-looking products that won’t break the bank, leaving you more resources to do what fuels your passion.

I’m one of those Millennials who got on AOL in junior high school and never looked back. My day job is in sustainability and renewable energy, but I’ve never been able to shake my passion for digital technology.
I’ve been tinkering with building websites since Windows 98, and a while back I realized what came naturally to me was something that could be helpful to others. Thus, this side hustle was born.
